Kristin Cavallari, the founder of Uncommon James and former reality TV star, recently shared the reasons behind her breakup with Mark Estes on her podcast, “Let’s Be Honest.” The couple, who had been dating for seven months, decided to part ways due to differences in age and life experience.
The Age Gap and Life Experience
In the latest episode of her podcast, Cavallari, 37, explained that the 13-year age gap between her and Estes, 24, played a significant role in their decision to split. “I broke up with Mark because I just know long-term it’s not right,” she said. “It’s not because of love lost or something bad happened. No one cheated, no one was mean like no one did anything”.
A Formative Time for Estes
Cavallari emphasized the importance of Estes experiencing life on his own terms. “He needs to experience life,” she stated. “I look back when I was 24 and how much life has happened between then. Those are crucial years, those are formative years, they’re when you find yourself, and he needs to be able to do that”.
The Best Boyfriend
Despite the breakup, Cavallari had nothing but kind words for Estes. “He’s been the best boyfriend I’ve ever had,” she shared. “I know that one day he will look back and understand it, and I actually think one day he will look back and thank me”.
No Regrets
Cavallari also mentioned that she has no regrets about their relationship. “I look at this romance as probably the best relationship of my life,” she said. “He will make someone so happy one day and have a beautiful family of his own”, reported EOnline.
