Modi to Inaugurate Development Projects Worth Over Rs. 7600 Cr in Maharashtra

The Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi announced via Twitter that he will inaugurate and lay the foundation stones for a series of development projects in Maharashtra today, Oct. 10, 2024 at 1:00 PM. The projects, valued at over Rs. 7600 crore, span various sectors, including infrastructure, connectivity, education, and skill development.

In his tweet, Modi emphasized the significance of these projects for Maharashtra’s youth, stating, “These projects will particularly benefit the state’s Yuva Shakti.”

The Prime Minister’s tweet read:

“In a short while from now, at 1 PM, we will be inaugurating and laying the foundation stones for development projects worth over Rs. 7600 crore in Maharashtra via video conferencing. These projects cover sectors such as infrastructure, connectivity, education, skill development, and more. They will particularly benefit the Yuva Shakti of the state.”

Focus on Youth Empowerment

The development initiatives are expected to create numerous opportunities for the young population in Maharashtra. The projects aim to facilitate better access to education and skill development programs by enhancing infrastructure and connectivity.
