A fire broke out earlier today at the renowned Foods Inn restaurant in Karachi’s Sindhi Muslim Society (SMCHS), causing extensive damage to the property. Fortunately, no casualties have been reported.

Swift Response by Fire Brigade

According to Fire Officer Zafar Khan, the fire was reported shortly after 12:30 PM. “We received the emergency call and immediately dispatched five fire engines to the scene,” he stated. “Our team managed to bring the situation under control, containing the fire to about 80%.”

Eyewitness Accounts

Eyewitnesses described the scene as chaotic, with thick smoke billowing from the establishment. “It was terrifying to see the flames engulfing parts of the building,” said a resident who wished to remain anonymous. “The firefighters did an incredible job preventing the fire from spreading further.”
