Salman Khan buys a new bulletproof SUV worth Rs 2 Cr from Dubai

Indian actor Salman Khan who is currently the host of the ongoing reality show “Big Boss18” reportedly purchased a bulletproof Nissan Patrol SUV for approximately Rs 2 crore. As the car is not sold in India, it is said that the actor brought the car from Dubai. Salman Khan has been receiving multiple death threats from Lawrence Bishnoi over the killing of blackbucks.

According to reports on the car, advanced bullet security safeguards of the SUV include thicker than usual clear glass aid to reduce point-blank range shots, mood blacking to limit driver or passenger’s identity, and explosives alert indications.

After the murder of his friend and political leader, Baba Siddique, he has tightened his security measures. The Bishnoi gang recently sent a message to Mumbai traffic police for Salman demanding Rs 5 crore as a price for Bishnoi to ‘forgive’ him.

A death “worse than Baba Siddique” was shot and killed in Mumbai on October 12, 2024; Bishnoi warned about the consequences if the amount was not paid. Last year, Salman also imported another car from the UAE after getting multiple death threats also targeting his father, Salim Khan.

Salman Khan who is hosting a new season of Big Boss currently, amidst the threats, decided to continue his shoot while taking safety measures. Extra precautions are taken by Mumbai police for his safety. He would be guarded by eight or 10 armed police as a part of his safety detail. To safely regulate any suspicious conduct or movement,  a command center has been installed at Khan’s Galaxy apartments. It makes it possible for alerts for any suspicious movement or activity. In the meantime, Salman is getting ready for his upcoming film, “Sikandar”.
