Threads, the new  "Twitter Killer" app from Meta that was launched on Thursday, now has 50  million users just over 24 hours since the app was rolled out.

This massive number was aided by Threads’ seamless linkage to Instagram which has around 2 billion active users.

Twitter was estimated to have around 237.8 million daily active users in 2022 for comparison.
