The third season of Netflix’s “Squid Game,” will return with a chilling new twist. The first teaser for Season 3, released on New Year’s Day, introduces a new killer doll named Chul-su, promising even more spine-chilling thrills for fans of the dystopian series.
A New Character Enters the Arena
In the 15-second teaser, viewers are introduced to Chul-su, a boy doll who stands opposite the infamous girl doll, Young-hee, from the “Red Light, Green Light” game.
The teaser shows three new players in their numbered tracksuits entering the arena, setting the stage for another round of deadly games. According to Deadline, Netflix shared the teaser with the caption, “Everyone say hi to Chul-su. Squid Game 3 coming 2025”.

Season 2 of “Squid Game,” which premiered on December 26, 2024, quickly became Netflix’s most-watched series of the week, raking in 68 million views in its first three days.
The series topped the weekly non-English TV list in 92 countries, making it the best-performing title overall. As reported by Hypebeast, the second season set the record as Netflix’s biggest TV debut in history.

The second season saw the return of Lee Jung-jae’s character, Seong Gi-hun, who re-entered the life-and-death game with a plan to bring down the sinister organization from within.
