‘Re Cervin’ Manga Expands Global Reach With Spanish and French Editions

‘Re Cervin’ Manga Explores Memory, Loss, and Redemption

The dark fantasy manga ‘Re Cervin’, created by Kousuke Hamada of ‘Hanebado!’ fame, continues its global rise with over 300,000 copies in circulation worldwide. Following its successful Japanese run, the series launched its Spanish edition on August 28, 2024, via Milky Way Ediciones, and is set to debut in France on October 15, 2025, under Pika Édition.

The story follows Princess Arsinoe, who loses her memories after her kingdom is destroyed and her mother is murdered. She joins Cervin, a man claiming to be her father and a king without a throne, on a haunting journey of survival, identity, and redemption.

“A princess without memories and a king without a kingdom — it’s a tale of loss, but also of rebirth,” said a spokesperson from Milky Way Ediciones during the Spanish launch event.

‘Re Cervin’ Cast of Characters and Global Editions

The manga’s central duo, Arsinoe and Cervin, are emotionally complex and deeply symbolic. Arsinoe, once heir to the peaceful kingdom of Hellenthal, sacrifices her memories to seal a rampaging dragon. Cervin, her father, is left to guide her through a world that no longer remembers them.

The series has been praised by creators like Makoto Yukimura (‘Vinland Saga’) and Yoshiki Tanaka (‘The Heroic Legend of Arslan’) for its emotional depth and mythological richness.

Together with Cervin, she embarks on a journey to reclaim their past and confront the tyrant Kontrano, who orchestrated the fall of Hellenthal.
