HUBBALLI: To boost the city’s cleanliness ranking and ensure better waste management, Smt. Sartaj Adhmani, the Corporator of Ward No. 62 (Zone No. 8), personally conducted a door-to-door visit at Gandhi Ekata Colony today.

Direct Interaction with Residents

During the visit, the Corporator personally inspected how residents are handing over garbage to the collection vehicles. She emphasized the critical importance of segregating waste into ‘Dry’ and ‘Wet’ categories at the source itself.

Focus on Public Participation

Addressing the residents, Smt. Sartaj Adhmani explained that maintaining hygiene and sanitation is a collective responsibility. She detailed how proper waste segregation helps in effective recycling and keeps the neighborhood free from diseases. “Public cooperation is the backbone of a clean Hubballi-Dharwad,” she noted during her interaction.
