N.H. Konaraddi Performs Bhoomi Puja for New Hadapad Samaj Building

MLA N.H. Konaraddi initiated the construction of the Hadapad Samaj building in Navalgund with a 40-lakh grant. Part of a 21-crore regional development plan.

Navalgund MLA N.H. Konaraddi took a major step toward regional community development by performing the “Bhoomi Puja” for a new Hadapad Samaj building yesterday. The ceremony took place on the sacred grounds of the Savalagi Math within Guddaderi Oni on March 19, 2026. This new community hall reflects a growing investment in the cultural and social infrastructure of the Navalgund constituency.

Our sources confirmed that the state government allocated 40 lakh rupees specifically for this construction project. Konaraddi noted that this is part of a much larger 21-crore rupee grant dedicated to building temples and community halls across Navalgund, Annigeri, and Hubballi.

The Hadapada community honored the MLA with a traditional shawl ceremony to recognize this record-breaking financial support. We saw Konaraddi joined by his son, Naveen Konaraddi, and their family as they sought blessings at the famous Ramalinga Kamanna temple nearby.

Check out the social media update below, which captures the spiritual essence of the day’s events. The post includes photos of the MLA alongside prominent religious leaders like Sri Virendra Mahaswamiji of Ajata Nagalingswami Math. This digital coverage has already sparked widespread appreciation from the Hadapada community members across the district.

Reliable attendance figures suggest that dozens of community leaders, including District President Maharudrappa Padesur and Taluk President Veeranna Hadapada, participated in the rituals. We talked to local organizers who confirmed that the building will serve as a hub for weddings, meetings, and cultural preservation. This project stands as one of the most significant social investments in the Guddaderi Oni area to date.

Prominent figures like Ganesh Hadapada and Shantamma Hadapada joined several other board members to witness the laying of the foundation. The presence of both male and female community leaders underscored the collective support for this 40-lakh-rupee initiative. Our team observed that the atmosphere was one of deep gratitude and regional pride.

Construction is expected to begin immediately to meet the high demand for local assembly spaces. Konaraddi credited the voters for giving him the strength to secure these vital government funds. This development marks a new chapter for the Hadapada Samaj as they move toward a more connected and empowered future.
