Hubballi’s Myadar Oni is gearing up for one of the city’s most explosive spiritual displays. The S.S.K. Youth Association has officially summoned a high-level preparatory meeting at the Shri Tulajabhavani Temple in Dajiban Peth to map out the 2026 Hanuman Jayanti Shobha Yatra.
We saw association members already coordinating with local volunteers to ensure this year’s “Grand Procession” shatters previous attendance records. March 26, 2026.
The stakes for the April 2nd mega-event are massive. Our sources confirmed that President Prakash Burubure has called for a “total community mobilization,” specifically requesting the presence of the Mahila Mandala and the Youth Mandala’s full executive bench. This Friday at 5:00 PM, the temple will transform into a strategy hub where elders and youth leaders will finalize the route, security measures, and the scale of the traditional tableaus. No detail is being left to chance for the Thursday procession.
Unity is the non-negotiable theme for this year’s planning. We talked to Youth Association representatives who emphasized that the success of the Shobha Yatra rests entirely on the collective “Cooperation of every individual.”
The meeting aims to harvest “valuable suggestions” from the community to avoid the logistical bottlenecks of previous years. This isn’t just a religious parade; it is a highly coordinated cultural operation designed to showcase the strength and heritage of the SSK community in Hubballi-Dharwad.
As the slogans at the association headquarters state, “Work done with unity is the key to success,”—and Hubballi is ready to prove it once again (see the meeting agenda below).
Meeting Roadmap: Hanuman Jayanti 2026
Strategic Planning: Finalizing the Shobha Yatra (Grand Procession) route and timing.
Safety & Coordination: Establishing volunteer teams and security protocols for the April 2nd event.
Community Input: Open floor for suggestions from the Mahila Mandala and community elders.
Resource Management: Allocating responsibilities for the massive crowd expected at the Sahasrarjuna Circle.
The atmosphere surrounding the Sahasrarjuna Circle is already thick with anticipation. With the Dajiban Peth meeting acting as the official “Green Signal,” the city is preparing for the saffron wave that will take over the streets next week.
