Kshatriya Urban Co-op Credit Society Branch Opened in Hubli

In a major push toward local financial empowerment, a new branch of the Kshatriya Urban Co-operative Credit Society was inaugurated on June 15, 2025, at Narayanapet, Channapet, in Old Hubli. The ceremony drew prominent political leaders, civic dignitaries, and enthusiastic residents, marking another stride in the state’s cooperative movement.

Notably, Hubli MLA Mahesh Tenginkai, who officiated the inauguration, emphasized the cooperative sector’s role in enabling financial inclusion, stating that such institutions “continue to make people financially independent while fueling the country’s grassroots economic growth.”

The event served as a rallying point for various community leaders and public figures, including Rajya Sabha MP Shri NarayanaSa Bhandage, Urban Development Authority President Shakira Sanadi, and Palike member Mrs. Radhabai Safare. Their collective presence underlined the wide-reaching support behind this initiative.

Additionally, community representatives such as Dr. Shashikumar Meharwade, the newly appointed state president of the SSK community, and Sri Satish Meharwade, The Chief Trustee of SSK Samaj, Hubli-Dharwad, Sri Sham Kabadi, Sri Ramesh Bagali, and Sri Jayaram Pawar further contributed to the occasion’s significance.
