Responding swiftly to public appeals, Municipal Corporation member Mrs. Sunita Prakash Burabure initiated the construction of a new bridge under the Hubballi–Dharwad Municipal Corporation grant. The project, estimated at ₹25 lakh, was formally launched today with foundation rituals.

Permanent Solution to Monsoon Woes
The new bridge is expected to provide a long‑term solution to flooding and traffic disruptions that plagued the area during heavy rains. Local residents expressed optimism that the project will ease both pedestrian and vehicle movement, while also boosting business activity in the busy market stretch.
Mrs. Burabure emphasized that the initiative reflects the Corporation’s commitment to addressing civic concerns promptly. “This bridge will ensure safety and convenience for our citizens. It is our duty to respond to their needs without delay,” she said.
Community Leaders Present
The launch ceremony was attended by several community leaders and traders, including Surendrasaa Ladwa, Shri Fakireswar Hiremath, Kishore Patil, Chandrakant Mandalkar, Lalit Jain, Shankarsaa Burabure, Vinayak Meharawade, Siddu Ratan Niyaz, Jitendra Rathod, Somanath Bhat, and Sanju Shiralakar.
