Nitin Gadkari said that he earns Rs 4 lacs per month from YouTube

Union minister Nitin Gadkari said that he earns Rs 4 lacs per month from YouTube as his viewership skyrocketed during the pandemic.

While assessing the progress of the Delhi-Mumbai Expressway (DME) in Bharuch, Union Minister Nitin Gadkari said that his ministry had started the rating of road construction contractors and consultants.

The minister also emphasized the importance of the network of modern- and high-quality roads for economic development and creating employment opportunities. He said that in Gujarat, about 423 km of road is being constructed for Rs 35,100 crores. He added that there would be 60 major bridges, 17 interchanges, 17 flyovers, and eight roads over bridges (ROBs) in the state under this expressway.

YouTube Pays Me Rs 4 Lakh/Month’:  

The minister said 33 wayside amenities are about to be built on this expressway to provide world-class transport facilities and generate employment opportunities.

On Friday, Union minister Nitin Gadkari said that he earns Rs 4 lacs per month from YouTube as his viewership skyrocketed during the pandemic. He added further, saying that his channel’s viewership increased, and YouTube now pays him Rs 4 lakh per month as royalty.

“I became a chef and started cooking at home and giving lectures through video conferences. I delivered more than 950 lectures online, including lectures to foreign universities students, which were uploaded on YouTube,” the minister said at an event where he was reviewing the progress of the Delhi-Mumbai Expressway in Bharuch.

He never imagined that his speeches would get so many views and be translated into money. The minister said that during the lockdown period, he started cooking and giving lectures through video conferences.

International Organisations also invited him, Universities, to deliver the speeches virtually, and all those videos were uploaded on his YouTube channel. His channel is a platform to find all his speeches- be it a press conference, or an interview with a channel, or a live address from a public meeting.
