Salman Khan surprises ‘Kick’ director Sajid Nadiadwala on his birthday

Apparently the Bollywood superstar surprised his close friend and director Sajid Nadiadwala with a camera shaped cake in a spontaneous celebration on the sets of his movie.

Sajid Nadiadwala who turned 49 on Tuesday, Feb 18 had a busy working birthday while shooting his directorial debut movie “Kick”. The shoot was going on in Film City with the leads Salman Khan and Jacqueline Fernandes. However Salman surprised his friend with a cake and spontaneous celebration.

A crew member said that Sajid was too overwhelmed when Salman, Jacqueline, choreographer Ahmed Khan and the entire crew sang him ‘Happy Birthday’ song. Later all were tapping their feet and dancing to songs.

It was unplanned and very heartfelt spontaneous. When Sajid’s family including his wife, son and mother walked in to wish him he could no longer control his emotions and broke down.

Sajid said that being a year away from 50 he may be getting more emotional. This birthday is special as he was shooting for his directorial “Kick” and also his production “Highway” is being released.

Salman Khan and Jacqueline Fernandes starrer “Kick” is slated to release on Eid of 2014.
