ALS Ice Bucket Challenge hits Robert Pattinson, Tom Cruise and Bollywood

Among the stars who have taken the ALS Ice Bucket Challenge are Tom Cruise, Anna Wintour, Zach Snyder, Robert Pattinson and Wonder Woman actress Gal Gadot. On Wednesday, the challenge has brought in $31.5 million to the ALS Association.

The challenge which saw the likes of Mark Zuckerberg, Satya Nadella and Bill Gates pour ice water over them asks people to dump a bucket of ice water on their heads or donate $100 to their cause. Those who completed the challenge have to nominate three more to complete the challenge within 24 hours.

The Ice Bucket Challenge had started to raise awareness and funds for ALS or Amyotrophic Lateral Sclerosis. Among the Indian celebrities Riteish Deshmukh, Abhishek Bachchan, Sidharth Malhotra, Sonakshi Sinha and Bipasha Basu took part in it and also nominated their friends.

Riteish Deshmukh took the challenge on the sets of “Bangistaan” and nominated buddy Abhishek Bachchan, Akshay Kumar, Sidharth Malhotra,  Ashish Chowdhry and Pulkit Samrat

Sidharth Malhotra accepted Riteish’s challenge and nominated Varun Dhawan, Arjun Kapoor and Mohit Suri.

Abhishek Bachchan took the challenge twice and nominated his father Amitabh Bachchan, Shah Rukh Khan and “Happy New Year” team. Second time he took the challenge with his team of pro kabaddi league.
