‘Aagadu’ Total Worldwide Box-Office Collections report

September 24, 2014: Latest Telugu release “Aagadu” has set cash registers ringing at the US Box Office and is all set to compete with the collections of Salman Khan starrer “Kick”.

“Aagadu” starring Mahesh Babu released on a record number of 159 screens across United States. The opening weekend of the movie, which also stars actress Tamannaah, has been great.

Salman’s “Kick”, which released on the eve of Eid, did fetch a phenomenal start in the US and India and went on to become one of the biggest hits in the actor’s career.

However, with Mahesh Babu’s “Aagadu” posing great numbers at the ticket windows, it remains to be seen if the lifetime collections of “Kick” are crossed by the movie.

Reports in the media stated that “Aagadu” had collected a total of $1301K in the first weekend at the theatres, crossing $829K, which was collected by “Kick” on the opening week.

According to reports, “Aagadu” has fared excellently in India, as well, with collections of Rs. 30 crores on the weekend.

Directed by Srinu Vaitlam, the movie has got great to average reviews, with everyone praising Mahesh Babu’s performance. The movie also stars Sonu Sood in a special role.
