In September, Sutton took to her Instagram Stories to share a look at her vacation swim gear. In a photo captioned “Cabo birthday begins,” the boutique owner showed off a white triangle-top bikini printed with adorable yellow seahorses while she basked in the Mexican waters. She accessorized her look with thick-framed round sunglasses and a dainty pendant necklace.

This isn’t the first time Sutton’s sea life–print suit has made an appearance. Back in August, she wore the bikini for a poolside selfie, adding in the caption that a friend was “teaching [her] how to do #selfies,” and joking, “not well, I know. If at first you don’t succeed…”
Sutton certainly has a point of view when it comes to her fashion. But the owner of The Sutton Concept boutique in West Hollywood knows that her fashion sense sometimes invites criticism from people who don’t quite get her style. In May, she opened up to Page Six about how she deals with the negativity surrounding her fashion choices.
“At first, it was hurtful when people didn’t seem to understand my fashion choices,” she told the publication. “But now, I don’t pay any mind to comments and whatnot… I love couture — and couture is all about slow fashion and meticulous detail… It doesn’t translate to a lot of people. People don’t understand it all the time because it’s a little bit different — but I’m a little bit different.”
People on social media have called for Sutton to “fire [her] stylist,” but there’s a twist: “I am my stylist,” she said. “I style myself, and I wouldn’t have it any other way. Only because if I don’t love it, then I’m not going to feel comfortable. I don’t like people telling me what to wear — or what to do in general — because I’m an earth sign,” she told Page Six. “So I’m grounded and I don’t need anybody to do that for me.”
