Two Hindi movies were released on November 7 2014 in India and across the world. ‘Rang Rasiya’ directed by Ketan Mehta and Abhishek Varma’s ‘The Shaukeens’.
‘Rang Rasiya’ has been ruling the headlines from the past one month, and it was due to a controversy stirred up by the misrepresentation of facts about the life of Raja Ravi Varma.
Now, things are clear, and the movie will hit the screens all across the country in spanking passion.
‘Rang Rasiya’ has Randeep Hooda in the lead role, and he is enacting the role of legendary painter, Raja Ravi Varma.
The supporting characters include, Nandana Sen, Paresh Rawal, Gaurav Dwivedi and Vipin Sharma. The movie had its world premiere in London Film Festival 2008, and the charm and glory is still there even if it is getting released in theaters after 6 years.
The film is produced by produced by Deepa Sahi and Aanand Mahendroo.
On the other hand, ‘The Shaukeens’ is noted for the extended special appearance of ‘Akshay Kumar’. The action Khilladi who is now concentrating on comic roles will be doing a light hearted character in the movie, and more details about it are yet to get revealed.
Apart from Akshay, the movie has Anupam Kher, Annu Kapoor, Piyush Mishra, Lisa Hayden and Rati Agnihotri in other prominent roles.
