Pooja Bhatt and Manish Makhija divorce after 11 years of marriage

After 11 years of married life, yesteryear Bollywood Queen Pooja Bhatt have split with her husband Manish Makhija. The news has been confirmed by Pooja through her Twitter page.

The voice of Pooja seemed ferocious, and it had all the strength of a middle aged powerful woman.

“To all those who care & especially those that don’t my husband Munna & Me have decided to part ways after 11 glorious years of marriage”, Pooja tweeted in the first post.

“Our split as some might call it is amicable & we hold each other in the highest esteem for now and forever”, the second tweet showcased the elegance of Pooja’s character.

“The reason I explain Is because we are both part of the public domain. Our friends,well wishers & foes are free to now speculate. : )”, the third tweet says.

The love story between Pooja and Manish had all the elements required to formulate a romantic movie in Bollywood. The duo met during the shooting of ‘Paap’ directed by Pooja.

Manish played a prominent role in this 2003 movie. The relationship between Pooja and Manish grew more than that of a director and actor, and soon, romance got blossomed between them. The couple married in the same year.

During those times, Manish was a well known VJ in the entertainment sector, and he was well known for his iconic role of ‘Udham Singh’ in the “Udham Singh Show” telecast in Channel V.

Pooja Bhat is the elder daughter of producer-director Mahesh Bhatt. The reason behind the divorce is still unknown, but if Pooja’s words can be believed, then it is an amicable separation.
