Salman Khan out of ‘Bigg Boss 8’, Farah Khan to replace him

Rumor mills are abuzz that choreographer turned director Farah Khan may take the charge of reality show Bigg Boss season 8, which includes a number of celebrities from current host Salman Khan.

While there have been no confirmations in this regard from Salman, Farah or the channel, the floating rumors may just turn out to be true given the developments.

Firstly, Salman’s contract for Bigg Boss current season is only till January, as the show was supposed to have its grand finale on January 4, 2015.

However, reports suggested that the makers and channel are keen to extend the show for a month, which will take the end date to February.

Given that Salman will not be available, it is being talked that Farah Khan may step in his shoes, said a report on India Today.

Salman, on the other hand, will start shooting for his next “Bajrangi Bhaijaan” from January and is not likely to be available.

Reports also have it that Anil Kapoor and Karan Johar were offered to take charge of the last schedule of the show, but both of them have refused the offer.

Bigg Boss Season 8 has been witnessing good growth in TRPs in recent weeks, and it is likely that the channel and makers want to cash in the same.

Also, it has been rumored that most housemates have agreed to the overall increase in the length of the show.

Will Farah bring the same fun as Salman? Well, we have to wait for that.
