Netflix’s new show ‘Wednesday’ broke the record of the highest-viewed show ‘Stranger Things’ Season 4. The display was viewed for 341.2 million hours between November 21 to 27.
As per Netflix, ‘Wednesday’ is the most-watched English language series on the platform. The series broke the record for ‘Stranger Things Season 4.
During the week of May 30 to June 5, ‘ Stranger Things Season 4 held the history of 335.01 million hours viewed, the highest recorded on Netflix.
Before that, another Netflix series, ‘Monster,’ had a viewing record of 299.840 million views from September 26 to October 2 but failed to beat the form ‘Stranger Things for the first position.
Following its release on the streaming platform, the show was seen in around 50 million households. The English language series ‘1899’ remains in the second position with a viewership of 87.89 million hours, more than the previous week’s 79.27 million hours.
In the list of the top shows on Netflix, ‘The Crown’ Season 5 is in the third position and has been viewed for 84.3 million hours, which was previously 42.36.
Season 3 of ‘Dead to Me’ was viewed 33.3 million hours in the first week. The show’s first season also joined the top viewed shows list in 10th, with 11.9 million hours considered.

The fifth, sixth and eighth spots were taken by three seasons of ‘Manifest’ with 21.6 million hours viewed in its third week of viewing. Similarly, Seasons 1 and 3 of the series earned 15 and 12.26 million hours viewed, respectively.
In the 7th position of the chart, “Pepsi, Where’s My Jet?” took that place with 14.16 million hours considered. ‘Warrior Nun’ Season 2 is in the 9th position with 11.97 million hours viewed.
The shows are a part of Netflix’s Top 10 list between November 21 to 27 that starts with English shows and continues with non-English series, English movies, and non-English movies.
Wednesday was released on Netflix on November 23, 2022, and received positive reviews from critics, although it was slammed for having some resemblance to other shows on The CW.
