This match was too turning in favor of the Aussies, but a last hour survival from Ravichandran Ashwin and Captain Mahendra Singh Dhoni helped India to fetch a draw.

Australian bowlers tried their best to pick seven wickets in the final session, but they managed to grab only three.

Australian Captain Steven Smith conceded the draw with four over remaining, and at that time India was 174/6.   Watch the highlights videos here.

Earlier, in the first session of the fifth day, the Aussies set a target of 384 for the Indians. The visitors had 70 overs for the run chase, but they didn’t even try to chase the huge yet assailable target.
