If you are a fan of CeeLo Green, you might have heard about his recent mishap at a tribute event for the late rapper Shawty Lo.
The singer was riding a horse into the venue when he suddenly fell off and landed on the floor. The incident was captured on video and shared on social media by a radio personality.
CeeLo Green, whose real name is Thomas DeCarlo Callaway-Burton, was hosting the celebration for Shawty Lo at The Bank in Atlanta on Wednesday night.
He decided to make a grand entrance on horseback, but things did not go as smoothly as he had hoped. The horse seemed nervous and restless, and as it moved around, Green lost his balance and fell off. He quickly got up and smiled, apparently unhurt by the fall.

The video of the fall went viral online, with many people commenting and laughing at Green’s misfortune. Some of his fellow musicians also joined in on the fun, such as Jermaine Dupri, Waka Flocka Flame, and Vedo. Green did not seem to be bothered by the incident, as he later posted a photo of himself with Shawty Lo’s daughter on Instagram with the caption, “We had a ball.”
The event was open to the public, with tickets priced at $17.50 and sections starting at $1000. It featured an all-black dress code and performances by T.I., DJ Greg Street, and Fabo. It was also attended by other celebrities and fans who came to pay their respects to Shawty Lo.
