The live reunion for Season 4 of Netflix’s “Love is Blind,” the streaming giant’s second-ever live event on its platform, hit an unexpected hiccup on Sunday, April 16, when the special failed to load for viewers at home.

On Sunday at 8:00 PM, the special was scheduled to begin streaming, but when viewers logged in to stream the event, they were met with an on-screen notification that stated, “We’re having trouble playing this title right now. Please try again later or select a different title.
Netflix acknowledged the delay on Twitter with the message “Promise #LoveIsBlindLIVE will be worth the wait..” but did not offer any details or an estimated start time for the special.
Netflix delivered another update after about an hour and a half of delay.
As per ET reports, at first, Netflix apologized for the delay to everyone who stayed up late and sacrificed their Sunday afternoon. Then added, “We’re filming it now, and we’ll have it on Netflix as soon as possible. Again, thank you and sorry .”

The streaming network ultimately received a lot of criticism from fans and rival networks.

The show follows fifteen men and fifteen women from the same city looking for love. The men and women go on dates for ten days in specially constructed “pods” where they may communicate through a speaker but cannot see one another. They are matched in a speed-dating format initially, but subsequently, they can opt for longer dates.
“Love Is Blind Season One” stayed in the US Top 10 for 47 days straight after its release in February, according to the Netflix 2020 watching trends summary, with 30 million households having seen the series within four weeks of its premiere.
