19-year-old Nandini Gupta from Kota, Rajasthan crowned Miss India 2023
The 59th edition of Femina Miss India 2023 concluded on April 15 with a grand finale ceremony at the Indoor Stadium, Khuman Lampak, Imphal, Manipur.
The event was a star-studded affair with celebrities like Ananya Pandey, Kartik Aaryan, Bhumi Pednekar and Maniesh Paul gracing the occasion with their presence and performances.

The night’s highlight was the crowning of the new beauty queen of India – Nandini Gupta from Kota, Rajasthan.
The 19-year-old business management student and model beat 30 other contestants from across the country to win the coveted title of Femina Miss India World 2023. She will now represent India at the Miss World contest to be held in 2024 in the United Arab Emirates.
Nandini Gupta is a pretty face and a woman of substance and ambition. She has dreamed of becoming Miss India since she was ten and has worked hard to achieve her goal.

Legendary businessman Ratan Tata, former Miss World, and actor Priyanka Chopra inspire her. She believes that rejections are crucial in defining one’s personality and is determined to face all the challenges and failures that may come her way.
Nandini Gupta is also proud of her home state Rajasthan and its rich heritage, culture and traditions.
She says that Rajasthan embodies the spirit of Atithi Devo Bhavah (the guest is god) and welcomes everyone with open arms. She hopes to showcase the beauty and diversity of India on the global stage and make her country proud.

The first runner-up of Femina Miss India 2023 was Shreya Poonja from Delhi, and the second was Thounaojam Strela Luwang from Manipur.
The state winners were judged by an elite panel consisting of Femina Miss India Universe 2002 and Mentor Neha Dhupia, boxing icon Laishram Sarita Devi, ace choreographer Terence Lewis, film director and writer Harshavardhan Kulkarni and distinguished designers Rocky Star and Namrata Joshipura.
