Earthquake tremors were felt in Delhi and adjoining areas on Tuesday morning. The tremors were felt at around 10.20 am. The National Centre for Seismology (NCS) said that the epicenter of the earthquake was 133 km south-southeast of Fayzabad in Afghanistan with a depth of 156 km.
The tremors were felt in several parts of Delhi-NCR, including Delhi, Gurgaon, Noida, Ghaziabad, Faridabad, and Bahadurgarh. People came out of their homes in panic after feeling the tremors. There were no reports of any damage or injuries.
The NCS has issued an advisory to the people living in the affected areas. The advisory said that people should stay away from buildings and other structures that may be damaged in an earthquake. They should also stay away from trees and other objects that may fall due to the earthquake.
The NCS has also advised people to stay calm and follow the instructions of the authorities.
