Following Mary Millben’s performance at Ronald Reagan Center, Mary touched the feet of Prime Minister Narendra Modi in Washington DC.
The event was conducted by the United States Indian Community Foundation (USICF) in which PM Narendra Modi delivered his goodbye speech to the Indian diaspora.
Mary Millben, a popular American Singer on the Friday of June 23rd added charm to the event as she surprised everyone by greeting the Prime Minister with a Namaste followed by touching the feet of the Prime Minister after her performance at the Ronald Reagan Center in Washington DC.

It was quite a surprise as she gave her soulful and best performance by singing India’s National Anthem while the Prime Minister was present and spread the Indian diaspora quite efficiently.
The American Singer tweeted the message regarding the event before her performance which said that “I will rest in the end, knowing that anything I did of great significance is because He (God) did it through me. Tonight, as I perform the Indian National Anthem for Prime Minister Narendra Modi and distinguished guests, India and Indian communities across the world, you are in my heart and thoughts.”
To which she also added that, “We are family – ‘one earth, one family, one future. JaiHind and God bless the #USIndia alliance.”

The chants of “Bharat Mata Ki Jai” echoed after the anthem as few words were exchanged between the Prime Minister and the American Singer.
Mary Millben has gained a massive fan base in India when she sang the devotional ‘Bhajan’ ‘Om Jai Jagdish’ at the 9th International Yoga Day, which was held at the United Nations on June 21, 2023 after which her video went viral on social media.

Being an American Singer, actress and a famous media personality, she has performed for three consecutive presidents including George W. Bush, Barack Obama and Donald Trump. Now India’s Prime Minister Narendra Modi has also been added to the list. In addition to this, Millben has been a featured soloist for notable international royalty including Queen Noor of Jordan and Princess Basmah bint Saud Al Saud.
