Boxer Amir Khan faces new controversy over inappropriate messages to model Sumaira
British-Pakistani boxer Amir Khan has landed himself in hot water again after allegedly sending lewd messages to a model named Sumaira, asking her to share revealing pictures with him. The model, who is based in Dubai, claims that Khan contacted her on Instagram and tried to flirt with her, despite being married to Faryal Makhdoom.
Sumaira shared screenshots of the conversation with a local news outlet, showing that Khan complimented her beauty and asked her to send him some “naughty” photos. He also asked her if she was married or had a boyfriend, and if she was interested in meeting him. Sumaira said she was shocked and disgusted by his behaviour, and decided to expose him to warn other women.
This is not the first time that Khan has been accused of cheating on his wife or sending inappropriate messages to other women. In 2017, he announced his divorce from Faryal on Twitter, accusing her of having an affair with fellow boxer Anthony Joshua. However, he later reconciled with her and apologized for his mistake. He also admitted to having a one-night stand with a model named Sophia Hammani in 2018, after the birth of his second child.
Khan has not yet responded to the latest scandal, but his fans and critics have expressed their disappointment and anger over his actions. Some have called him a hypocrite for preaching about Islam and morality, while others have urged him to seek professional help for his addiction.
