“Khichdi 2” is about to be released, get ready for a good laugh. On Friday, the producer announced that “Khichdi2-Mission Paanthukistan” will hit theaters on Diwali this year.

The movie stars Supriya Pathak Kapoor, Rajeev Mehta, Anang Desai, Vandana Pathak, Kirti Kulhari and actor-producer Jamnadas Majethia (JD).

It was stated that the film, shot against the Diwali festival, “combines together on the strong power of unity, humanity, forgiveness and family relationships”.
Khichdi originally appeared as a level game. It revolves around the quirks of a Gujarati joint family in Mumbai.
It has since evolved into a sitcom, web series, and movie. The sequel, which is a comedy, will be released 13 years after the first movie.
