“Akelli” starring Nushrratt Bharuccha, will be released in theaters on August 25, 2023.
Jyoti (Nushrratt Bharuccha) needs a lot of money to pay off all her family debts and support her family following the death of her parents in the tragedy of Kedarnath. She was planning to apply for a job in Muscat, Oman, but did not have enough money to pay the agent as a deposit.
The representative can find a job at a price she can afford at a garment factory in Mosul, Iraq. Although Jyoti knew Iraqi politics, she decided to work there.
At work, she meets a kind man named Rafik (Nishant Dahiya). After a while, she found herself in a war zone. She decided to return to India, but the situation did not allow it.
The next day, the factory was robbed by a group of criminals and the workers were arrested.The story is about Jyoti’s heroic fight against terrorists in an unknown land where survival is a war.
Akelli has created an incredible survival story. A gritty thriller that manages to be cool. He has a fascinating talent, and audiences thank him for his explanation and clarity. The direction of Pranay Meshram is very clear.
Plot
The story is gripping and its crude handling makes it even more terrifying. Cinematography and camera work are excellent. The music in the first half is very nice to listen to and the use of background music is also very good, which enhances the overall experience.
Akelli is often the victim of simple spells. In most cases, Jyoti managed to escape the seemingly impossible escape. Fortunately, that belief paid off for this movie. Speech is normal. The movie has a script. Small cuts can make the film harder and brittle.
Nushrratt Bharuccha plays the role of Jyoti with passion and integrity. It shows strength and weakness at the same time. Nusrat turns into an experienced actress who can only advance in each of her films if she chooses a strong and successful role.

Rafeeq, played by Nishant Dahiya, is so sweet, Jyoti’s colleague in Mosul, Iraq. He gracefully gave Nusrat the center of the stage. The rest of the supporting actors in the movie did a great job. “Akelli” is a live performance, albeit a bit polished. This movie is sad, sad and very sad.
