Kangana shared a video of herself speaking directly to the camera and said in Hindi, “Friends, my film Tejas was released in theaters yesterday. Whoever saw this film has given us a lot of appreciation and blessings. But friends, after Covid 19, our Hindi film industry couldn’t fully recover. The audience does not even give 99% of the films a chance.
“I know that nowadays, everyone has a cell phone and a TV at home. But community viewing in cinemas has been an important part of our civilization since the very beginning. Dance, art… every kind of dance, folklore… all these are essential. So that is my serious request to the Hindi film audience and especially to the multiplexes… if you liked Uri, Mary Kom, and Neerja, you would like “Tejas” too.”
