Suriya’s Tamil Film ’24’ first look posters released

The first look posters of Tamil superstar Suriya’s upcoming movie “24” were released on Nov 23, 2015.

“24” is a science-fiction thriller film directed by Vikram Kumar and produced by Suriya under his company 2D Entertainment.

The movie stars Suriya, Samantha and Nithya Menen in the lead roles,

Oscar-winning music composer A. R. Rahman has provided the music for the movie.

Rahman has also composed music for Suriya films like “Sillunu Oru Kadhal” and “Ayudha Ezhuthu”.

The film is scheduled for Pongal release.

However, there is some controversy related to the title of the film. The rights for the title “24” is said to be with actor Anil Kapoor.

“24” is also the name of the popular American TV show of which Anil Kapoor remade in Hindi for the Indian audience.

The official logo of the film also look similar to the TV series 24, for which Kapoor had bought the remake rights.

Kapoor is holding the rights of the 192 episodes. Legal proceedings have been planned against Suriya and his production house 2D Entertainment.
