Virat Kohli: “It’s been firm but pretty dry. That’s what you expect from Nagpur, good time to bat on day 1. Rohit in place of Varun Aaron and Mishra comes in for Binny.”
Amla wanted to bat first too, without his spearhead Steyn, expected to have a good first day.
Two changes for the visitors too, Simon Harmer will play in place of Kyle Abbott.
He said after the toss; “We would have batted first too. We need to have a good day. You would expect it to break up early on. Dale is not fit, hopefully he is fit for the next game. Simon Harmer comes in for Kyle Abbott.”
