The highly popular culinary show, “Masterchef India” nationwide auditions for the fifth season has commenced, and the first screening test was held in Kolkata on 5 June from 8 a.m. onwards.
The next test of the favorite show will be held on June 18 and 19 in Delhi. The venue will be Delhi International School, Sector 18, Dwarka, New Delhi 110077.
The audition in Mumbai will be on June 25 and 26. The location is IES New English School, Government Servants Colony, Near Khervadi Police Station, Bandra East, Mumbai 400051.
The auditions are also planned in other cities like Jamshedpur, Chandigarh, Guwahati, Ahmedabad, Jaipur, Udaipur, Patna, Bangalore, Goa, Hyderabad, and Pune. Details can be had by calling on the following numbers-(022) 2606 5301, (022) 4613 4100
In Bangalore the auditions will be held on June 23, the venue has not yet been revealed.

Aspirants are required to carry their photo identity card along with them. The evaluation will be based on talent, experience, originality and appearance of dishes. 50 candidates will be selected across the country from the screening rounds.

Out of these 50, 12 will be shortlisted and will compete for the coveted trophy. Winners will get prize money of Rs 1 Crore and can publish a cookbook with their recipe. They will also get an opportunity to host a culinary show.
Master Chef India is broadcast on Star Plus channel and is sponsored by Amul India. Four seasons have been broadcast, and the audition is taking place for the fifth season.
