K-pop boyband member G-Dragon has parted ways with YG Entertainment and is making necessary preparations for his comeback under the new agency Galaxy Corporation. But, amid the preparations the K-pop idol was engulfed a in dating controversy! This time he was linked with Miss Korea runner-up Kim Go Eun. However, his present agency released an official statement, putting closure to all dating rumors.
G-Dragon and Kim Go Eun are not dating!
Last year July, G-dragon and Kim Go Eun who was the second runner-up at the Miss Korea beauty pageant in 2022 were seen together in Osaka, Japan attending a soccer match. Fans were also quick to notice that many of G-Dragon’s friends and acquaintances were following and interacting with Kim Go Eun on Instagram. This fueled the dating rumors of G-Dragon and Kim Go Eun.
However, on March 10, G-Dragon’s agency denied the dating rumors, putting an end to all dating speculations surrounding the idol.
The agency reported-
“G-Dragon and Kim Go Eun are not in a romantic relationship,” said a representative of Galaxy Corporation. “She is merely a dongsaeng [younger friend or sibling] that he knows, and her social circle overlaps with his.”
“We understand that this rumor originated in China last summer and then began to spread, but after checking, they are not romantically involved,” continued the agency.
This cleared the air and it seems that the two share a close and familial bond like that of siblings, rather than being romantically involved with each other.
G-Dragon’s upcoming schedule
In October 2023, the K-pop idol in addition to other top stars from South Korea was faced with drug charge allegations. According to South Korean law, all recreational drugs are prohibited in the country and intake of any drugs is considered an offence. Fortunately enough, he cleared his name in the scandal but since then he turned to a more private life away from the public eye.
Yet, he is quite active on social media and loves interacting and chatting with his fans. He could be seen regularly posting his daily activities and whereabouts on Instagram.
The Singer’s current agency Galaxy Corporation in a press conference assured fans that G-Dragon is preparing for a comeback this year, much to the delight of his fans.
