Mahira wrote, “What happened in the program was not okay. No one should think that it is okay to throw something on the stage, even if it is a flower wrapped in a paper plane. This sets a wrong precedent. This is not acceptable.” “Sometimes I get scared, not only for myself but also for others who may get caught in a crowd situation.”

Focus on love

Mahira further wrote, “When we were coming back, someone said ‘After this we will not hold any program here’. I completely disagreed. This is not the solution. There was a crowd of 10,000 or more here… which was our Showing love and excitement the way they know best. I could see that they didn’t know how to express their excitement, that’s out of 10,000. The Humsafar actress further said, “Maybe I should have got up and left, maybe the crowd could have been checked, maybe I should not have been kept at the spot… a lot could have happened and should have happened.”

Despite the incident, Khan focused on the positive aspects, acknowledging the love and excitement of the 10,000-strong crowd, and advocated for continued cultural programs in the region, suggesting that avoiding such events is not a solution to isolated acts of misbehavior. The actress’s stance on the issue has been met with support from fans and fellow artists.
