AAJ Tak Live: West Bengal, Maharashtra 2024 Exit Polls Live; BJP gets upper hand

The West Bengal Lok Sabha Election 2024 is a highly anticipated event, with 42 parliamentary constituencies up for grabs. Of these, 30 seats are general, while 12 are reserved for SC/ST candidates.

The election was conducted in seven phases, spanning from April 19 to June 1. The official results are expected to be declared on June 4, 2024.

WB Exit Polls and Predictions

As the polls close, exit polls will provide an early indication of potential winners in the elections. In 2019, the exit polls results showed a neck-to-neck fight between the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) and the Trinamool Congress (TMC) in West Bengal.

The BJP made clear inroads by winning 18 seats, coming close after the TMC clinched 22 seats. Congress, unfortunately, secured only two seats.

This year, all eyes are on whether Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee’s Trinamool Congress can retain its dominance or face the BJP wave.

The main parties vying for seats in West Bengal include:

• All India Trinamool Congress (AITC)
• Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP)
• A coalition of Left Front and Indian National Congress

The exit polls for the 2024 Maharashtra Lok Sabha elections have provided some interesting insights. Here are the predictions based on the exit polls:

• INDIA Bloc: Expected to win around 26 seats.
• BJP-Shiv Sena Alliance: Likely to secure approximately 22 seats.

These predictions offer an early indication of the likely outcomes before the official results are declared on June 4, 2024.

The battle between the Shiv Sena (Uddhav Balasaheb Thackeray faction) and the Shiv Sena (Eknath Shinde faction)-BJP alliance has been closely watched in the state.
