The teaser for the upcoming film Chhaava, directed by Laxman Utekar, has been released. It stars Vicky Kaushal and Rashmika Mandanna in the lead roles. The release date for the film has also been announced. With its grand cinematography, the film is set to be a blockbuster.

The teaser opens with a furious combat on the banks of a river, laying the groundwork for Vicky Kaushal’s powerful performance as Chhatrapati Sambhaji Maharaj. Vicky’s narration takes over when he says, “We call Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj a lion, and Chhaava the lion’s child.”

Vicky is then shown riding a horse, clothed in military gear. The following images show him heroically facing a sea of foes alone. The preview also reveals Akshaye Khanna’s unrecognizable appearance as Aurangzeb. The teaser ends with Vicky as Chhatrapati Sambhaji Maharaj seated magnificently on a throne.

Release Date

The Laxman Utekar film will be released on December 6. It is a historical drama based on the life of Chhatrapati Sambhaji Maharaj, the son of Maratha king Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj. Rashmika Mandanna plays Yesubai Bhonsale. Other cast members in critical roles include Akshaye Khanna, Ashutosh Rana, and Divya Dutta.

The makers unveiled the first look of the film on Monday. Vicky Kaushal shared a new poster of the film via an Instagram post. In the poster, he can be seen in white attire surrounded by enemies.
