Several states will continue to send inflation relief checks, stimulus cheques, or tax rebates in January 2023 & beyond, even though inflation has decreased. These payments were approved last year to help people suffering from high prices.

Taxpayers who asked for a delay in filing their tax return 2021, due on 17th October, will get up to $750 by January 31 of this year.

Hawaii residents should get a $300 one-time tax refund if their income was under $100,000 in 2021 or $200,000 if they filed jointly. A payment of $100 is available to those who made more than $100,000 or $200,000 as a single person or as a couple. Direct deposits started to be issued at the end of August.

South Carolina

In November, South Carolina taxpayers began receiving income tax refund checks up to $800. The end of 2022 should have seen refunds for taxpayers who submitted their 2021 tax returns by October 17, 2022.
