Alan Ritchson is back as the vigilante drifter Jack Reacher in the much-awaited third season of “Reacher” on Prime Video.
Based on Lee Child’s acclaimed Jack Reacher book series, Season 3 follows Reacher as he goes undercover in a mysterious criminal organization to find a missing DEA informant. The season is inspired by the seventh book, “Persuader,” and promises to deliver thrilling action and suspense.
Episode 5 Release Date and Time
Fans of the hit thriller series can mark their calendars for the release of Episode 5, titled “Smackdown,” which will premiere on Prime Video on Thursday, March 6, at 12 a.m. PT/3 a.m. ET.
The remaining three episodes will continue to air weekly on Thursdays until the season finale on Thursday, March 27.

In addition to Alan Ritchson and Maria Sten, who reprises her role as Frances Neagley, Season 3 introduces several new cast members. Anthony Michael Hall, Sonya Cassidy, Brian Tee, Johnny Berchtold, Robert Montesinos, Oliver Richters (aka The Dutch Giant), and Daniel David Stewart join the ensemble, adding fresh faces and dynamic performances to the series.
Plot Twists and Unfinished Business
Season 3 of “Reacher” delves into the dark heart of a vast criminal enterprise as Reacher attempts to rescue an undercover DEA informant whose time is running out. Along the way, he confronts demons from his past, making his mission even more complicated.
The show’s creator, Nick Santora, emphasized the importance of staying true to Reacher’s character, stating, “The DNA of Reacher is that he moves about on his own and teams up with good people when there’s bad lurking about, and then he says goodbye to those people and goes on his way”.
