Karnataka Chief Minister Siddaramaiah joined thousands of devotees for mass Eid-ul-Fitr prayers at the iconic Masjid-e-Khadria on Miller Road in Bengaluru to spread a message of communal harmony.
Devotees filled the mosque and surrounding streets after completing 30 days of fasting during the holy month of Ramadan. Our sources confirmed that the CM arrived early to greet citizens and offer his best wishes to the Muslim community across the state.
Every corner of the prayer hall echoed with chants of peace and unity as the congregation marked the “Festival of Breaking the Fast” on March 21, 2026.

Prayer leaders guided a crowd of over 8,500 people through the traditional Namaz under clear Bengaluru skies. Worshippers dressed in new festive attire exchanged hugs and shared sweets immediately after the sermon ended.
Siddaramaiah emphasized that no religion teaches hatred during his address to the gathered assembly. Love and mutual trust remain the only path forward for a diverse nation like India.

India remains a beautiful tapestry of different castes and cultures that must stay united to thrive. We saw the CM personally distribute greetings while highlighting that humanity should always come before narrow interests.
Masjid-e-Khadria is one of the largest prayer spaces in the city, often hosting over 10,000 people during major festivals. Security teams deployed 200 extra personnel to ensure the smooth flow of traffic on Miller Road throughout the morning.
Brotherhood is essential for the prosperity of the entire human race. Peace remains the foundation for a stable and happy society in Karnataka.
Similar mass prayers occurred at the Chamarajpet Eidgah Maidan, where 15,000 people gathered simultaneously. Most attendees expressed joy at seeing the state leadership participate in their most sacred celebrations.
Unity in diversity defines the core spirit of the country and must be protected at all costs. Karnataka citizens often look to these moments as proof that multiple faiths can coexist beautifully.
Devotees began dispersing around 11:30 AM to celebrate with family feasts and charity work. Traditional vermicelli dishes like Sheer Khurma were shared among neighbors of all backgrounds to mark the joyful occasion.
