Hubballi, April 11, 2026: Relief is on the way for residents and traders of Ward No. 65, Soraba Math Oni, who have long struggled with a damaged nala bridge during the monsoon season. The broken structure had caused severe inconvenience, disrupting daily life and vehicular movement in the locality.

Responding swiftly to public appeals, Municipal Corporation member Mrs. Sunita Prakash Burabure initiated the construction of a new bridge under the Hubballi–Dharwad Municipal Corporation grant. The project, estimated at ₹25 lakh, was formally launched today with foundation rituals.

Permanent Solution to Monsoon Woes

The new bridge is expected to provide a long‑term solution to flooding and traffic disruptions that plagued the area during heavy rains.
