On April 17, 2026, Hubballi officially joined the FLY91 network, marking a proud milestone for the airline. With this launch, FLY91 added its 12th destination and rolled out three new routes: Hubballi-Hyderabad, Hubballi-Bengaluru, and Solapur-Hyderabad.
The celebrations at Hubballi airport were memorable. The aircraft received a water cannon salute, followed by lamp lighting, and the first set of passengers boarding for takeoff. “We saw the excitement in the eyes of travelers—it truly felt like a new beginning,” said a FLY91 representative.
Our sources confirmed that the inaugural flights from Hyderabad and Bengaluru also took off with full occupancy. The airline’s leadership and airport officials were present at all locations to mark the occasion.
At Hyderabad, Mr. Sanjay Kumar (COO, GHIAL), the Chief Airport Security Officer, and other stakeholders joined the event. In Hubballi, dignitaries including Mr. Arun DV (CASO & Assistant Commissioner), Mr. Sanjeev Kumar (ATC In-charge), Rupesh Kumar (Airport Director), Gautam Salaskar (Head, Ground Operations and Inflight Services, FLY91), and Jeronimo Allen Trindade (Head, HR, FLY91) were present.
Data shows this is already FLY91’s fourth new destination in 2026. The airline is expanding aggressively, aiming to connect tier-2 cities with major hubs. Regional connectivity boosts passenger traffic by nearly 20% in the first year of operations.
Social media buzz around the launch was strong, with a related embed trending under #BharatUnbound. Passengers shared photos and videos of the celebrations, highlighting the excitement of Hubballi’s new routes.
FLY91 officials said the expansion reflects their vision of connecting Bharat beyond metros. “Our mission is clear—bring more cities into the aviation map,” one executive noted. With Hubballi now on board, the airline is set to strengthen its footprint across southern India.
