The SSK Hubballi-Dharwad Central Pancha Trust Committee hosted a Raksha Bandhan program on August 30, 2026, at Sitabai Kalyana Mantapa in Dajiban Pet, Hubballi. The gathering took place under the chairmanship of Chief Trustee Shri Satish Meharwade. Our sources confirmed that women from the SSK community tied rakhi and blessed the men present.
Sisters and community women offered the traditional thread with prayers for safety and well-being. The hall filled with family warmth and festival cheer. People came dressed for the occasion and stayed for the blessings.
We spoke with attendees who called the morning peaceful and close-knit. One guest said the rakhi moment felt like home. Another praised the trust for bringing the SSK community together again.
Former HUDA chairman Nagesh Kalburgi attended the event. Narayansa Khode, Neelakantasa Jadi, and Bhaskar Jeeturi were also there. The organizers closed the note with Om Namah Shivaya.
SSK Community Leaders Join Raksha Bandhan in Hubballi-Dharwad
Kiran Poojari, Shrikant Habib, and Shankarsa Habib joined the program. Ranga Badi, Rajesh Jadi, and Venkatesh Habib Katave were present too. Several other community members filled the remaining seats.
Raksha Bandhan marks the bond between brothers and sisters. We saw that same spirit in the SSK gathering at Sitabai Kalyana Mantapa. The trust used the day to mix faith, family, and local leadership.
