A Hubballi SSK marriage hall expansion reached its next concrete pour in Old Hubballi. We saw local SSK organisers mark work on two new slabs for a public wedding venue at Narayan Peth. Our sources said the hall is being widened so community marriages can move into an air-conditioned space soon.
The project sits under the old Hubballi SSK Samaja, the Somavamsha Sahasrarjuna Kshatriya group also known locally as Savaji. Old Hubli SSK Samaj Chief Trustee and Central Panchayat chairman Shri Satish Meherwade was present for the slab stage.

Also present on the ground were Panchayat secretary Jayaram Pawar and other Panch committee members Gopal Baddi, Ashok Basava, and engineer Sridhar Magajikundi.
The note we received included no opening date or cost. “Very soon” is a promise, not a calendar. Watch the Hale Hubballi committee for a booking start and AC test run before families lock a muhurat.
Hubballi SSK Marriage Hall Gets Two New Slabs
Public community weddings in the old city often need a hall that can take heat and crowd. An AC box only helps if the structure and power load are ready. Two slabs mean the expansion is past talk and into civil work.
SSK units in Hubballi-Dharwad already run temples and student events. A shared marriage hall fits that list. Call the Kendra Pancha committee before you treat the building as open. Paperwork on land and electricity should sit with the same office that sent Meherwade to the site.
More Hale Hubballi SSK notices usually follow when plaster and wiring start. Until then, the news is limited: two slabs poured, an AC public hall still ahead.
