Hubballi Event Cancelled After Amit Shah Falls Ill
KLE Society chairman Prabhakar Kore told the Gabbur gathering that Shah stayed back on medical advice. Joshi, Karnataka Medical Education Minister Sharan Prakash Patil, former chief minister Basavaraj Bommai, Belgavi MP Jagadish Shettar, and the Moorusavirmath seer inaugurated the campuses in his absence.
Local leaders later said Shah did visit the KLE campus in the evening before flying to Delhi. He posted from the Hubballi hospital site the same day. The morning public inauguration still did not happen as planned.
Hubballi and Examba were the two named cancellations on the Karnataka grid. No hospital admission was announced in Joshi’s remarks.
