Advance bookings for Ranbir Kapoor’s “Ramayana: Part One” have crossed Rs 100 crore worldwide as of November 3, 2026, just two days before the film’s theatrical release. The Hindi-led Indian epic, directed by Nitesh Tiwari, is attracting advance ticket sales across India and overseas markets.
According to a report by The Telegraph India, the film has generated more than Rs 72 crore in domestic advance bookings, including blocked seats. Overseas markets have contributed over Rs 40 crore, pushing worldwide pre-sales beyond the Rs 100-crore mark.
Domestic bookings for the first three days, November 5 to 7, have crossed Rs 72.6 crore with blocked seats included. The figures come from trade tracking platform Sacnilk, as reported by the publication.
North America adds to worldwide demand
International bookings have played an important role in the film’s pre-release performance. North America is among its major overseas markets, with paid preview screenings scheduled for November 4, a day before the global release.
The film is set to reach theaters worldwide on November 5, 2026. Its advance sales cover the extended opening weekend, giving exhibitors an early indication of audience demand across different markets.
Ranbir Kapoor leads the two-part epic
Directed by Nitesh Tiwari and produced by Namit Malhotra, “Ramayana: Part One” adapts the Indian epic for the big screen. Ranbir Kapoor plays Lord Rama, Sai Pallavi portrays Sita, and Yash takes on the role of Ravana.
The cast also includes Sunny Deol as Hanuman and Ravie Dubey as Lakshman. The production brings together Prime Focus Studios, DNEG and Yash’s Monster Mind Creations.
The makers have planned the project as a two-part film, with the second installment scheduled for Diwali 2027. The first part will release in Hindi, Tamil, Telugu, Kannada, Malayalam and English.
The worldwide advance-booking total could change as more tickets go on sale before Thursday’s release. Actual box-office collections will provide the first measure of how the film performs after opening.
