Well known comedian of Tamil industry and television anchor, Sajjadh Adeebh aka Chitti Babu, 49, died in a private hospital on Nov 08, 2013 in Chennai. He is survived by his wife and son.
A source from the family told IANS that he fell unconscious due to high diabetes on Wednesday and was rushed to Royapettah Government Hospital.
He slipped into coma on Thursday and did not regain consciousness. Doctors tried to revive him but Babu passed away on Friday evening.
Chitti Babu started his career as a TV anchor of a Tamil comedy show.
He entertained in TV shows like ‘Hari Giri Assembly’, ‘Asathapovadhu Yaaru’ and ‘Comedy Time’.
He made his movie debut in 2002 with the romantic-drama “Five Star”.
He then starred in movies like “Boys”, “Ottran”, “Dhool”, “Pazhani”, “Sivakasi”, “Varnajalam”, “Dindigul Sarathy”, “Thiruthani”, “Dasavatharam” and “”Maapillai”. He acted in total 20 movies as supporting character.
Babu had undergone a bypass surgery two years ago after which he couldn’t work as actively as before. Hence he was acting selectively and cut down his work.
This year he was seen in supernatural thriller movie “Masani”. His last movie is the yet to be released Tamil film “Madha Gadha Raja”.
