For the first semi final of the ICC Under-19 World Cup, 2013/14, England Under 19 and Pakistan under 19 will face each other in a day and night match at Dubai International Cricket Stadium.
Both England and Pakistan have won their quarter finals against the much mighty teams of India and Sri Lanka respectively, and today’s match will seat the fate for the coming finals.
England Under 19s played superbly well against India Under 19s on 22nd February on the same ground, although the win came by narrow 3 wickets.
With disciplined and controlled play, England managed to chase India’s target of 221 in 49.1 overs with ease, pushing the defending champions for a playoff match for the 5th place.
Pakistan Under 19 had lost only one match against India Under 19 in the group matches, but certain redeemed the same as they created a mammoth score of 279 for the Sri Lankan team.

It’s a day and night match in Dubai between England and Pakistan Under 19 squads, scheduled at 12:00 local time (08:00 GMT).
