Takoma Park has partnered with LiveStories (FORWARD) to administer COVID-19 relief funds to the community. Eligible Takoma Park residents can now take advantage of a one-time $1,000 direct cash assistance.
The relief program for low-income earners in Takoma Park, Maryland, is being funded with more than $2 million in Covid money.
According to officials, the program is intended to help Americans who the outbreak has impacted.
Residents who want to apply must have annual incomes under $50,000 as of October 25 at 8 a.m. Only Americans who reside in Takoma Park may apply for assistance.

A benefits letter, tax document, or photo ID card can all be used by Americans to prove their identification.
Residents should use servers like Google Chrome or Safari when submitting their applications.
Additionally, applicants must show proof of a tax return from 2020 or 2021 demonstrating that they make less than $50,000.
